The right candidate will receive logistics training and gain knowledge in selling.Core Responsibilities:· Effective marketing and promoting of Diversified Transportation Services to potential customers by using established and qualified telephone leads.· Contact current and prospective customers to sell and explain coverage gaps, account rounding and solicitation of new business within market area.· Follow-up with customers and providers to sell or resolve problems, answer questions, correspond and report· Maintain and update company CRM system with all sales activities and client details· Client development on various levels - Small - Medium - Enterprise accounts· Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators as per the company incentive· Rate negotiation and GP management with your clients· Customer ServiceQualifications and Experience:· Industry and sales experience a plus· Ability to build rapport quickly and easily over the telephone· Prior telephone sales/marketing experience· Driven for success· Able to manage multiple relationships at a time· Highly motivated and articulate· Reliable· Possess the ability to learn and utilize our proprietary TMS platform· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, pro-rata, percentages and volume· Strong Problem Solving Skills· Ability to handle objections· Proficient telephone and computer skillsBenefits· Unlimited Commission Potential· 25 Hours a week with Career Advancement· Bonuses· Profit Sharing· Casual Dress Code· FSA, DDC, and Voluntary Insurance Plans· Training Provided
