We are conducting the search for an Account Manager for an Oil & Gas services company located in Santa Clarita, California area. The Account Manager will upsell existing clients, acquire new customers, penetrate markets and retain customer while focusing on monetizing transactions. The successful candidate will have sales experience in the oil field services or related industry in the area south of Santa Clarita. The Account Manager is expected to provide a mix of strategic and tactical solutions in a business-to-business selling environment. ACCOUNTABILITIES· Researches and qualifies current and new prospective accounts, including identifying the purchasers and key buying behaviors· Develops sales strategy, including comparing and evaluating services to make appropriate recommendations based on needs analysis of the prospective account· Executes the sale, conducts presentations, negotiates pricing, and presenting the contract to close the sale· Coordinates internally on both proposal development and closing the sale, including necessary reporting to management· Researches existing accounts, identifying opportunities for expanding product offerings and ensuring accounts are managed according to business objectives· Develops sales strategy, including comparing and evaluation of services to make appropriate recommendation based on needs analysis of the existing account· Executes the sale, including proposal development, conducting presentations, negotiating pricing, and presenting the contract to close the sale· Obtains a minimum annual goal in generated sales· Track and log all communication with clients and follow up within a timely manner to ensure proper touch points· Liaise between assigned clients and internal team ensuring seamless transition of work orders and timely delivery· Maintains a consultative relationship with the purchasers or influencers of the existing account to ensure renewal· Maintains CRM while providing accurate sales reporting including timelines from start of sales process and throughout the relationship MANDATORY EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS · 3-5 years of technical experience in Oil & Gas, engine, compressor, and/or rotating equipment industry selling and/or servicing products and services· Sales and/or service experience with compressors and/or engines· Strong relationship sales and customer service experience· Experience in the Oil & Gas services FIELD Sales· CRM sales tool experience PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS · Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related fields OTHER INFORMATION · This is a full time position at our client’s site· Compensation includes salary and benefits and is dependent on your experience· Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US without employer assistance· Local candidates strongly preferred· Drug screening may be required prior and/or during employment
