Western Region ManagerLos Angeles, CA - 90039Los Angeles or Orange County Based ABOUT THE COMPANY AND THE JOB:Our client is a well-established, mid-sized wine and spirits supplier with popular and proven brands. They are currently seeking a high-performing Region Manager who brings significant ambition, strong leadership qualities, and a desire to join a winning team. The individual they hire will be responsible for the States of CA and HI. The Region Manager has a total of 4 Direct Reports (District Managers); and oversees all aspects of their business throughout both CA and HI to achieve their sales and distribution objectives. The position requires a self-motivated, organized, energetic, high sense of urgency and creative person with sales and management experience. This is a home based office role. Ideal candidates will live in greater Orange County or Los Angeles County, CARESPONSIBILITIES:Achieve state depletion and distribution objectives while staying within brand budgetsResponsible for all programming, pricing, budgets, goals, and objectivesEstablish relationships with key distributor managers in all divisions including senior level managersPlan time and activities to ensure achievement of volume, new distribution, promotions and merchandising objectives for key accounts by: Ensuring target accounts are contacted and serviced as needed and in compliance with frequency standards set by management.Execute systems management to ensure business growth through displays, distribution, menus, features, merchandising and sales skill development at all levels of distribution processIdentify market trends and interpret how those trends will affect marketplaceExecute successful and impactful planning, review, sales meetings and annual market plans with distributors- conduct sales meetings and team meetingsEffectively manage wholesaler to attain new business while maintaining proper ordering proceduresManage inventory and purchasing to ensure adequate levels are maintained at all timesManage 4 direct report market managers by developing their skill set, providing constructive feedback, and monitoring their resultsThe ability to travel overnight and work evening eventsQUALIFICATIONSA Bachelor’s Degree is requiredProfessional, educated person with 10 plus years’ strong sales and management experienceExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong presentation skills in large group settingsProficient computer skills: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and WordAbility to lead and motivate sales managersStrong pricing and programming skillsGood budget management abilityOrganized with excellent time managementAbility to use her/his time effectively and efficiently; able to concentrate her/his efforts on prioritiesSales, negotiating and closing skillsHas the ability drive sales initiatives with distributor representativesStrong relationships with senior distributor managers and executivesQuality of work output consistently meets or exceeds position standardsCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITSBase salary of $120K to $130K plus a highly achievable 35% annual bonus, mileage, matching 401K up to 6%, paid vacation, a rich benefits package and more.TO APPLYPlease select an option that enables you to attach your resume as an MS Word of .PDF file, thank you.
