G.J. Oliver, Inc., a worldwide leader in the design and manufacturing of Steel Fabrications and API class Machinery Systems, based in Phillipsburg, NJ, is currently looking for an experienced Sales Representative in the Los Angeles, CA territory to promote G.J. Oliver’s products and services.The qualified candidate will assist in achieving all company goals and monitoring open quote status with follow ups as well as obtain the technical information required for quoting. The qualified candidate will be comfortable targeting new B2B customers on a daily basis and would have prior experience in the fabrication and machining industry. The ideal candidate will have “hands-on” experience working within the fabrication side of the oil and petrochemical industry (piping, fabrication, console systems, etc.), and shows upward mobility within their job history toward being a qualified sales manager or administrator. We are interested in someone who has an extensive understanding of the industry, a “go-getter” with a client history to show.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but extensive experience in the fabrication and machining industry would be highly considered.Technical experience in the petrochemical field is desired.An established base of customers and contacts in the field.7-10 years of client management and outside sales experience within the manufacturing environment.Ability to work independently from a home based office.Strong communications skills (verbal and written).Proficient skills using Microsoft Office products and computer savvy.Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.Must be able to pass a background check.Must be able to travel the territory as needed.
