  • Summary: This position is primarily responsible for selling Residential Warranty Services home warranties with effective customer service to external real estate agents by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1.       Solicit potential real estate agents as clients to market 1 Year Home Warranties to their homeowner clients2.       Develop plans to acquire new realtor clients, through direct sales techniques and business-to-business marketing visits.3.       Input clientele information into BAM Dashboard our internal data base system on a daily basis4.       Recommend our warranties and marketing tools to help realtors build their business5.       Explain the use and benefit of home warranties and advantages of using RWS home warranties6.       Answer clients’ questions.7.       Provide updated marketing materials and products to new and existing clients.8.       Monitor customer or clientele preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts.9.       Attend and participate in local real estate functions (i.e., conferences, tradeshows, etc.).10.   Work with customer service and local realtors to find dependable contractors in the area11.   Network with qualified home inspection companies and marketing oriented mortgage and title companies12.   Continually expand knowledge on the various offerings of related companies and products that benefit realtors as included in The Savvy Agent book Competencies: 1. Days and hours of work and time frame TBD. Travel:Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. Performance Standards: Maintain regular work schedule.Maintain good communication with clients.Maintain good rapport with clients.Maintain good communication with co-workers.Maintain good communication with management. Knowledge and Skills: Basic understanding of the real estate industry.General knowledge of what a real estate transaction entails.Ability to communicate with clients by phone, in person, or through correspondence.Possess a thorough understanding of all applicable products.Possess a willingness to learn.Ability to perform duties with minimal direction.Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy. Required Education and Work Experience: Bachelor of Science in Business, Sales and Marketing, or related discipline.Experience in Sales, the Real Estate, the Mortgage Industry, Title Companies, or Home Warranties.Any similar combination of education and experience.
