As a Retail Coverage Merchandiser you will be covering a certain territory set by the area manager, visiting certain stores throughout the month. You will need to be willing to build a relationship with the store managers. Some grocery or retail experience is a plus but not required for this role.You will work on your own performing audits, surveys, and collecting data. You will also need to be able to rotate items, move/clean shelves, and filling voided items at local grocery chains.The schedule is set weekly and you can typically expect to work 30 hours each week, depending on business needs. You will be traveling up to 40 miles, or up to 1 hour, to one or more stores in the area. You will also need to be flexible to work between Monday – Friday, from 8:00am – 5:00pm, for 8 hours each day.You will also need to own or have access to a home computer, be able to lift 60 or more pounds, and be able to read planograms and complete resets.
