We are a top property management group based out of Newport Beach, California and we know no boundaries when it comes to hiring and retaining the best employees in the industry.The Resident Services Representative is responsible for ensuring that the community meets safety, appearance and operational standards established by the organization by preparing apartments for move-ins, completing resident requests for maintenance, and providing customer service activities.Job Responsibilities:Responds to resident requests for maintenance and service by troubleshooting the source and taking appropriate action to repair and/or restore service within the quality and time standards established by the organization. Escalates problem or issue to supervisor or outside contractor as necessary.Maintains the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community by ensuring that lighting, grounds, amenities, building exteriors, breezeways, curbs, signage, leasing office, central garbage areas, parking lots and other buildings and common areas are free of debris by cleaning and/or removing trash, graffiti, and other items which affect the appearance and/or operation of the community.Makes necessary repairs to building exteriors and common areas as assigned by the Resident Services Supervisor.Ensures apartments are ready for occupancy by performing various and as needed electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and other miscellaneous equipment maintenance and repairs, painting, and overall apartment cleaning and other activities as necessary or as directed.Maintains tools and equipment and ensures they are in proper working order, requests replacements as necessary, and assists in stocking inventory of parts and maintenance materials.Must take on-call duties according to the policy set forth by Lyon.Adhere to the company's safety program rules, attend safety meetings and perform all duties in a safe manner.Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.Required Skills:High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred.Intermediate-to-advanced level of vendor and all phases of apartment and preventative maintenance including, but not limited to, appliance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall education and experience.HVAC and or EPA preferred but not requiredRequires a valid driver's license and insurance.Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.High level of organizational and time management skills.Basic computer skills preferred.Will have exposure to outside elements where temperature, weather, odors, and/or landscape may be unpleasant and/or hazardous.Lyon Management Group, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
