Please READ the entire ad BEFORE calling !!!! I am selling my 2009 Yamaha V-Star 250 with only 4800 miles on it. For the people who know this bike, it is a real steal. The bike has been upgraded with a Spitfire windshield, Cobra freeway crash bars, custom chromed Harley-style rear-view mirrors and also really nice custom floor/foot-boards, both for the rider and the passenger. Also a chromed rear seat-back support with a cargo rack.... But all this fades in comparison with it's performance. According to it's reviews, this bike gets about 70 mpg while still capable of freeway speeds.
This is a really seeked motorcycle due to it's performance, fuel burn and ease of maintenance. GREAT STARTER motorcycle or even better for taking you through college. People also rent this type of bike for taking the DMV test. It is light enough to navigate the course at the DMV yet powerful enough for a cross country trip. It was cared for by Ken and Joe's in Santa Clarita and was inspected as recent as beginning of April 2012.
If you want the bike "loaded" the way it is, the price is $3500. I can also sell it for $3000 without all the add-ons, the way you would get it from the dealer. The price is FIRM so please do not try to low-ball or offer any trades. I ask for what it's worth and if you ask any dealer, you will find that they can not keep these bike on their lots....
