I have a 2005 Piaggio X9 Evolution 500 Maxi Scooter for sale. At only 3,250 miles the X9 is in pristine condition. This X9 Touring Scooter is the equal of any Sport Bike on the market, but has the ease of an automatic. This Maxi Scooter is Italian Engineering at it's best, built by the company that has been making scooters for over 50 years. Piaggio which is the parent company of Vespa, is at the forefront of Scooter technology, which is reflected in every line of the Evolution. Agile, easy to handle and the most compact of all maxi scooters on the market. Great for commuting or touring. Rivals the Suzuki Burgman 650 which sells for over $9,899 with another $1000 in dealer fee's alone. The top speed of the X9 is 100 mph. It is fuel injected and liquid cooled. It gets terrific mileage (45-50 mpg) and comes with a 4 gallon tank. It has factory installed Brembo brakes, Michelin Gold Standard Tires with 14 inch rims on Aluminum Alloy wheels. It has a Digital Instrument Panel with an On-Board computer. It comes with Built-in under seat storage and comes with an adjustable windscreen - this has a small blemish on it. The windscreen is 14 inches in height. The Upper Windscreen retails for $450.
The X9 Evolution was built with a single cylinder, 4 stroke 4 valve Piaggio MASTER engine. Factory hp is 39 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. I have installed a top of the line Giannelli High Performance exhaust and it has increased the overall hp and torque of the scooter. The Giannelli Exhaust is an Aluminum Alloy Oval End Can and retails for over $800.
The X9 has been garaged since it was purchased from the dealer. As picture in the ad the bike is $5000 by itself. I am including a Factory Coded Spare Key ($100 value) - not pictured. I also have the Owners Manual and Record of Service. The X9 has a new battery and a fresh oil change and was inspected by a dealer.
Sold as a set for $500 are all of the accessories pictured (they retail for $2700). None of the accessories are installed and are all new in box. They are: a Royal Blue Givi Top Case 45 liter. It is a Monolock Case (retails $350 with blue paint). Givi Mounting Plate (retails $155.) Givi Stop Light Kit (retail $50). Passenger Backrest (retail $45). Givi Throw Over Saddlebags (retail $175). A Factory Left Mirror - with a small scratch underneath. (retails for $215). A new in box Scorpio I-500 S/E Alarm. Comes with a pager/remote which functions up to a 1/2 mile away. This alarm retails for $380. I am also including a dust cover and a Factory Service Manual and Parts Manual - these are on CD and are not pictured. (I paid $200 to get this manual and it is a nice addition). Finally, as pictured I am selling the original Factory X9 Exhaust which I replaced at 600 miles. It retails for $1200 - $1400 for the Complete Exhaust, Guard and Muffler.
