The Corporate Director of Performance Improvement / compliance reports to corp VP of clinical is responsible for directing and monitoring EACH OF 15 Hospitals facility-wide quality management assessment and quality performance improvement program, ensuring the facility’s programs are in compliance with all regulatory agencies, JCAHO, CMS, TCADA and state and federal agencies. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in nursing, social work or related behavioral health field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience: Four (4) years experience in quality management/improving organizational performance within an acute psychiatric treatment setting.Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of JCAHO, TDH, CMS, MHMR, OSHA and Patient Rights standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities. Shift Hours: DayAdditional Function: - Perform other duties as directed.Authority:The Compliance Officer is authorized to take reasonable action necessary to carry out the responsibilitiesassigned as long as such action does not deviate from established organizational policies and is consistent with soundprofessional judgment.Working Relationship: - The Compliance Officer directly reports to the Vice President assigned to supervise this position. -Establish a working relationship with 13 hospitals-acute psych. staff, the local communities and thecorporate VP of Operations.Qualifications: - Master's degree preferred. - Special study or experience in the area of data analysis, policy andprocedure development and Quality Assurance. - Ability to travel in California, Texas, Arizona, and Illinois.. - Must be detail oriented.Evaluation :The job performance of the Corporate Compliance/Quality Assurance Coordinator will be evaluated at the end of the IntroductoryPeriod and at least once a year thereafter. The Performance Appraisals will be accomplished by the Senior Vice President.-Strong background in behavioral health is required-R.N. with Masters degree preferred but not limited to. A seasoned LCSW,LPC, etc with proper experience also considered.-Knowledge of Quality measures, JCAHO readiness, CMS compliance, Mock surveys, etc.-Strong Computer skills.-Ability to facilitate data collection, analysis, and develop processes andsystems to achieve positive results.Competitive salary + Relocation Assistance to Corona , CA or surrounding area and Benefits Packages.
