NOTE: This position requires previous experience in buying media and managing paid advertising campaigns on social media. The Social Media Advertising Manager will be part of the acquisition team, and take ownership of paid ads ons social media accounts, devise best practices to drive conversions, create and launch campaigns for a wide variety of brands and products. We’re looking to learn.We are currently seeking a Social Media Advertising Manager to lead our paid ad efforts across Facebook and other social ad platforms. This role will work with the senior acquisition director to develop, optimize and maintain our paid social strategy. The role is directly accountable for leading and expanding our social media strategies, delivering against measurable ROAS objectives, employing the right platforms, expanding revenue opportunities and implementing accurate analytics/reporting to inform ongoing tactics.Essential Job Duties and Skills:Manage paid ad campaigns across Facebook/Instagram, and Pinterest to drive conversions and increase revenue. Ensure campaign delivery, performance and concert ROAS goals are fulfilled as scheduled.Work with marketing leads to develop long and short term strategy for new and expanding paid ad campaigns.Execute, manage and improve upon existing tactics and strategies within these channels; measure results and recommend strategy changes as necessary.Hands-on execution of ad bid/budget management, new campaign creation, audience refinement and new ad generation using various social ad platforms; monitor and actively report on performance; analyze results to build upon best practices and market trends.Explore new social channels and conduct due diligence on opportunity to reach new audiences (for example, understanding the ad landscape on Snapchat).Drive best practices around data-driven decision-making, testing, growth and forecasting.Contribute to research needs in support of various business verticals; work with analytics tools to provide key strategic insights for executive teams.Manage our relationship with our key paid social partners; lead weekly calls and planning sessions.Desired Skills and ExperienceProven track record in social media ad buying and management is a must.3 years experience minimum.Must have an advanced understanding of direct response marketing, reporting and optimization for performance-based ROIs and lead captures.Mastery of all relevant social platform UIs and capabilities (all ad units, targeting options ), relevant API management platforms - Facebook, Pinterest, instagram etc.Excellent communication skills.Familiarity with best-in-class examples of brands in social media.Hungry to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Extremely organized with a strong attention to detail.A fast learner who can work on both a team and alone.Impeccable spelling and grammar.A creative mind.
