This is a full-time position based in downtown Los Angeles.Job DescriptionDevelop and implement a comprehensive event marketing plan to include social media (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn) and grassroots campaigns to identify and outreach to new audiences.Create materials to promote event registrations such as flyers, webpages, social media messages as well as collateral to promote and strengthen the Town Hall Los Angeles brand.Send out frequent 2-3 weekly e-blasts to build audiences for upcoming programsExpand and manage member and subscriber databaseDevelop new lists to promote attendance at events or increase visitation to the websiteMaintain and develop community partner relationships to build database and event registrations Social media:Develop and implement comprehensive social media marketing plans to update Town Hall’s social media pages and websitesDevelop a social media campaign using materials from Town Hall’s archivesTrack and analyze website and social media performance Required Knowledge/Skills/Job QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, business or related field. Strong interest in civic engagement, public and community issues.A minimum of 2-4 years experience in creating, implementing and managing event marketing and social media campaigns on tight deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerpointProficient in Wordpress, Mail Chimp and CiviCRMExperience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Google Analytics, Content Management Programs, E-mail Marketing and PhotographyExcellent verbal and written skillsAbility to build strong relationships with outside partnersWork creatively with limited resourcesMust be able to adjust work schedule to event scheduleFor immediate consideration, APPLY NOW to be contacted.
