VICE PRESIDENT of Human ResourcesPacific Clinics (www.pacificclinics.org) located in Arcadia, CA is searching for a Vice President of Human Resources.The Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for directing all of the human resources functions of the Agency, including all divisions and programs, in accordance with the policies and practices of the Agency and the legal regulations and administrative rulings of governmental organizations and other regulatory and advisory authorities. This position will also be responsible for the strategic human resource planning in the development and implementation of human resources policies, programs and services, including recruitment, retention, legal compliance, employee benefits, worker’s compensation, employee relations, compensation, employment practices and procedures, employee communications and employee events. This position serves as the internal consultant to Agency management, supervisors and employees on personnel issues that affect performance and business relationships. Supervises and manages the development, implementation, maintenance and coordination of computerized human resources information systems. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field; Professional certification by the Society for Human Resources Management (PHR/SPHR) preferred; A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive human resources experience with a minimum of five (5) years supervisory and management experience.Extensive knowledge of employment and labor laws including FMLA, CFRA, ADA and worker’s compensation leave laws.Ability to negotiate conflicts and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of an organization (both internally and externally outside the company).Ability to meet deadlines; accomplish work in order of priority; professionally maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions.Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/database.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills, including ability to resolve disputes and observes confidentiality.ABOUT PACIFIC CLINICSPacific Clinics is a nonprofit organization that provides culturally responsive and innovative mental health services to over 18,500 children, adults, older adults and families annually across Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura Counties.
