The Chef de Cuisine will be largely responsible for overseeing the The Oak Room, our 80 seat Member Dining Room. The Oak Room offers seasonal menus of upscale yet approachable and locally sourced California fare in addition to weekly buffet and casual pub menus. The Oak Room is open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday and for lunch 6 days a week.Responsibilities include: - Menu input and seasonal changes in collaboration with the Executive Chef - Overseeing a team of 7 BOH including staffing, training and mentorships. - All administrative responsibilities (ordering, inventory, scheduling, managing food costs, etc.) - Occasional oversight in other outlets and for large scale events.The ideal Chef de Cuisine candidate has a professional attitude with strong communication skills with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in management preferably in upscale hotels and Country Clubs. An understanding of club culture is required for this role.
