Trendy boutique hotel in Los Angeles is looking for a Catering Sales Manager to join the team! Known for its fun décor and California style, this hotel offers top-notch service and a unique experience to all of its guests, whether you are staying at the hotel, attending an event, or just having a cocktail at the bar. After a recent multi-million dollar renovation, the hotel boasts several thousand square feet of event space including a full service restaurant, pool, lobby bar, and courtyard. The role of the Catering Sales Manager Includes:-Driving and increasing sales-Retaining current clients/obtaining new clients-Cold calling, networking, and marketing for the hotel & event space-Create floorplans, custom menus, and general event outlines to present to clients-Work with catering team and kitchen to ensure proper event execution through accurate and detailed BEO’s-Establish and negotiate contracts-Maintain company’s standards and regulations-Consistently provide excellent customer service Previous catering or event sales experience is a must! Hotel preferred. The ideal person will be a team player and a go-getter and already have an established LA area client base. This person must take initiative and go above and beyond to close deals and book sales!! Compensation will include salary plus commission.
