He established woodensurfboards.com back in 2003 and personally hand shapes every wooden surfboard as a wall mount or a durable furniture piece (using Eco-friendly rare Northern California old growth clear heart Redwood with natural gold flake) amazingly he found a LIMITED supply of this rare Redwood which he reclaimed from a friend that had worked on a old home here on the Malibu coast. While this rare Redwood lasts, you can now choose from 8 different styles. Includes exotic woods, such as African Sapele Mahogany, Ash, Wenga or Royal Mahogany, as well as New Zealand abalone shell that is hand inlayed into the center stringer of each surfboard, Erik's most popular wooden surfboard is the Santa Cruz, this is a great talking piece and brings a nice relaxing feeling into any room or outdoor furniture.
