Bed is a true antique.

Bed frame is dark brown. A full size bed. Complete and ready to set up. The headboard and foot board are there, as well as the metal side rails to put bed together. The head and foot board have small decorative, carved, balls of wood attached together, vertically inserted into the horizontal holding boards. The vertical inserts (attached balls), are approximately 12" high and are spaced at approximately 8 inches apart. From one end of the frame to the other end.

You may want to sand and restain the bed. We used it as is and it was a conversation piece. In good condition and strong. Can easily hold the weight of two hearty adults and a child or two and dog.

This bed was purchased at Helms Antiques in West Los Angeles, CA, in 1978, for $900. and same owner has had it since then. We used it from 1978 through 2011. We might be able to go a bit down on the price.
