EF High School Exchange Year is the leader in High School Foreign Exchange, bringing students from 13 different countries in Europe and Asia to the U.S, where they live with host families and realize their lifelong dream of attending High School in America. To help continue to grow the program, we are currently looking for dedicated local community members (International Exchange Coordinators, or IECs, as we call them) to join our team. IECs are the heart of our organization and facilitate an amazing cultural exchange experience for both host families and international students. As an IEC, you will bring exchange into your community by building relationships with schools, networking to find great host families, and mentoring High School students throughout their year in the U.S. This position is flexible, part-time, and offers supplemental income. IECs receive full training and support as they enter into this role. While this is not a full-time job, it is a very rewarding project to take on in your spare time, weave into your everyday life, and earn some extra spending money and travel rewards. Not only is this a great way to get more involved in your community, but you'll have the opportunity to change people's lives and make the world a more open and understanding place!
