YouthBuild Eligibility Requirements
Age and Document Requirements
16-24 years old only
Driver’s License, or Government ID or Birth Cert or U.S. Passport and Social Security Card and
Registered in Selective Service is Required.
Out-Of-School or Seeking An Individualized H.S. Education
(Required –See Below for Exemption)
School Letter/Documentation, School Transcripts, Applicant Statement
(25% Exemption—Basic skills deficient 8th grade level or below;
Referral from a HS Counselor or Teacher/Principal)
***Please note, students are only eligible if they have not completed high school.***
Student Must Meet at Least One of the Following Eligibility Categories:
Low-Income (Bring pay stub, bank statement, written statement of individual providing temporary residence,
parents or self tax return, public assistance records, unemployment records)
Youth In Foster Care (Court documentation, social service contact, medical card)Youth/Adult Offender (Court, group home/residential, police records, letter from parole/probation, applicant statement)
Youth with Disability (SSA disability, academic, IEP, medical records or physician statement)
Child of Incarcerated Parent (Court records, applicant statement)
1+ Year Program, What are the hours?
Mon-Friday you must be available between 7:00 am—5:00pm

What if I only want to take some of the training as opposed to all of it?
This training is a complete package. You must commit to a minimum of one year.
