Pit Bull Terrier - Ringo - Large - Adult - Male - Dog
3-year old is still a pup at heart
Ringo is a handsome & smart 3-year-old (he resembles the dog in the Jim Carey movie “Bruce Almighty”). Ringo looks forward to human hugs and kisses. He even talks when he’s being pampered and seems to say, “Oh, yeah! That feels great!” He is a sweet boy who enjoys play dates with his BFF Rio. Although he is bigger, stronger, and outweighs Rio, he plays very well with her. While Ringo & Rio do not have to be adopted together, if you are looking for two dogs, they make a great pair!
Ringo is neutered, up to date with vaccinations, and microchipped. Ringo has not had the privilege of a household experience, but he is crate trained indoors for bedtime. Due to his strength and size (60 pounds), Ringo would do best in a home with older kids or just adults.
All dogs love routine. With some discipline & training Ringo will prove to be a loyal & devoted dog.
Ringo is currently staying at a foster home in Thousand Oaks, CA. To schedule a meeting with Ringo at PetSmart in Newbury Park, please call his foster mom Karen @ 310-435-4976 or 562-991-3226.
Rescue dogs are cared for in foster homes while they await adoption. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please contact the listed volunteer to schedule a time.
Rescue cats are available for adoption at PetSmart in Newbury Park, CA (2685 W. Hillcrest Drive; Wendy Drive exit from the 101 freeway). Store hours: Monday-Saturday 9am-9pm, Sunday 10am-6pm. Adoption events are held Saturdays 11am-3pm.
Some cats are also in foster care, so you may contact CPAadoptions @ gmail.com to find out where the animal is located and schedule a meeting.
All pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoptions.
Local adoptions only; no out of state adoptions. Prospective pet parents must complete an adoption application and be approved (application available online at http://www.concernedpeopleforanimals.org/Adoption.html <http://www.concernedpeopleforanimals.org/adoptions.html> .) Dog/puppy adoptions require a yard inspection.
The adoption fee is $150 for dogs and $120 for cats, which helps cover the cost of spaying or neutering, vaccinations, medical care and tests, flea control and de-worming, microchipping, and the care of the animals for as long as it takes to find a new home.
