Customer Service Representative LOCATION: Torrance, CA.SHIFT: 1 shift Hours 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday - FridayPAY: 13.50 JOB PURPOSE:Processes orders per procedure, handles customer complaints and service problems, and acts as liaison between the customer, the salesperson, and the factory to promote smooth, efficient operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Codes orders daily, answers all phone inquiries, and coordinates shipping.Processes orders per procedure.Organizes all paperwork for filing.Handles customer complaints and service problems.Follows up on customer inquiries pertaining to production and shipping information.Serves as inside salesperson, quoting prices, and answering product inquiries.Acts as liaison between customer, salesperson, and factory.Responsible for collection on accounts.Performs other duties as assigned.Works overtime as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.At least three years prior experience in customer service is preferred.Must have good communication and mathematical skills and good analytical abilities.Be proficient in 10-key.Must have basic computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Windows.Must have knowledge and proficient use of applicable office-related equipment.
