$3,000 Sign-On BonusWe currently have an opportunity for a Sr. Production Manager- Bilingual Spanish. - 1st ShiftESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Utilize ERP system to manage inventory, produce schedules, create orders, report production and receive product. Perform production planning operations utilizing MRP outputs, inputs, and signal reports, pegging planned orders insuring the proper inputs will drive work orders to on time completion providing finished product WIP materials to the Assembly Department.Provide information and collaborate with Environmental, Quality Control, Maintenance, Engineering, Scheduling, and Manufacturing, to assist and / or to implement programs related to improve product quality, cost reductions, work simplification, dies/ tooling tryouts, methods, procedures, scheduling, planning, machine repairing, and maintenance schedules, etc.Utilization of Six Sigma toolsInventory accuracy of raw materials, work in process and finish products from the departments of responsibility.Follows ISO-9001 quality system processes and procedureSupervises approximately 1 to 4 direct reports and 100+ Indirect reports.QUALIFICATIONSSkills and understanding of “Lean manufacturing” environment with the ability to apply these methods into manufacturing philosophy. (TPS, 5S, 4P, 3Mu, A3, JIT, Jidoka, SMED, TPM, Gemba Walks, Kaizen, OEE, Kanban, Heijunka, etc.)Strong computer skills in MS Office and ERP systems (Plex preferred).Project management skills and “MS Project” skills are desirable.Must be flexible to work in the two CA locations with shift availabilityAbility to work weekendsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor Degree in Industrial Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent, with 5 year minimum experience in similar roleExperience with continuous improvement and/or TPS with 3-5 years related experience in a Lean manufacturing environment in a management role.Certified Six Sigma Green Belt preferredRoot cause analysis, problem identification, and resolution skillsLANGUAGE SKILLSBi-Lingual in Spanish and English is requiredCompetitive BenefitsWe recognizes the challenge of balancing your career and personal life.
