PURPOSE OF POSITION: To perform various non-skilled production line and processing room duties as assigned to ensure that daily production requirements are met. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Unpack and thaw frozen tripe.Unload thawed tripe onto conveyor.Operate conveyors and dicing equipment.Sort product and materials as required.Assist machine operators as required.Perform various cleaning duties during production.Control tripe conveyor and keep the dicers steadily fed so that the machine operator does not run out of diced tripe.Clear the tripe that gets stuck on the divider that feeds the Holac Dicer.Monitor the Dicers to ensure they are dicing at all times; if they are not dicing ensure that the tripe has not bridged, if it has remove tripe to eliminate bridging.Inspect diced tripe to ensure consistency in cut and inform supervisor if foreign object is found.Wash stainless steel tanks for production and break down cardboard from frozen tripeAbility to lift 30-40lbs and dump vegetables over the shoulders into Zacmi filler to keep the line filled with product.Stack 60 lb cases of meats (chicken, pork etc..) onto a pallet for thawing.Perform other assignments as instructed by supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS:Basic working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.Verbal and written skills in English.Must be able to work a flexible work schedule for 2nd and 3rd shift.Must be willing to work up to 6 days per week.
