Dolphin is located near Los Angeles International Airport with a branch office in Miami.We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and dedicated person to become Operations Manager in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment.Duties of the Operations Manager include:-learning and improving company processes-hiring and training crew members-fostering a productive teamwork environment-working with U.S. government agencies to receive and send shipments-directing crew of up to 30-processing and caring for live tropical fish-using custom computer programs to maintain inventory-helping with general facilities maintenanceTo be a successful Operations Manager, you must:-be able to train and motivate crew members-have great written and verbal communication skills-think critically-be results-driven-be willing to work a flexible schedule-work weekends, especially Sunday.-be able to lift 50+ pound boxes-have a valid, clean CA driver's license-have basic computer and math skills-have at least 3 years of management experiencePlease do not respond if you do not fit all of the above.The ideal candidate is bilingual (English and Spanish), and enjoys fish-keeping.
