Aerospace company seeks for Maintenance Electrical Technician.
Maintain, modify and repair various types of industrial electronic controls and systems and related electrical items which are a part of production machinery or plant facilities.
Plan methods required to maintain, test, repair or modify various types of industrial electronic controls and systems. Assist with preventive maintenance as needed.
Diagnose, locate and correct malfunctions of electronic systems, PLCs, actuators, recorders, machine controls and related electrical elements on such industrial equipment as machine tools, fabricating machinery, arc welders, induction heaters, heat treating furnaces, regulators and timing devices using test equipment to determine correct hook-up and load capacity. Modify electronic devices and equipment as required.
Maintain service and repair electronic devices and equipment by calibrating, aligning and adjusting controls for proper operation, and replacing worn or defective parts. Clean and adjust relays, PC boards, digital scales, encoders, tach generators, machine monitors, axis and servo motors, spindle motors and welders. Knowledge of induction heater circuitry and operation.
Knowledge of test equipment such as DMM, Oscilloscope, Megger, Function Generator and Basic Volt Meters.

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Maintenance CMMS software. Word Processing software and Internet software.
