Domestic Short Hair - Black and white - Linus - Medium - Young
DOB: 5/15/12 Although Linus looks like an adult he is still very much a kitten, curious and learning about everything he can stick his nose into. He has also stopped some of his habits like eating cardboard and eating other cat's vomit.
Linus is energetic and needs to go to a home with other cats. He loves to wrestle with other cats and hunt other cats and play with laser lights and balls and anything on the floor. He also plays with humans, and he's been very gentle, usually keeping his nails in while he bats at you or grabs at you.
Linus is Mr. Personality also. He knows a few words like 'no.' He's very good at no , probably because I say it a lot to him (he's still young). He will stop when you say no. He also knows his name very well. I grew up with dogs so I tend to treat him like a dog and play dog games with him like, I'll run away from and he finally gets that he's supposed to chase me. He also knows the word 'cookies' and I think he might be trainable using treats. I have not tried it yet.
I see him understanding things now that he just didn't get a couple of months ago. Like playing chase me. He is very funny at bedtime and in the morning. Whereas in he used to be persistent in trying to wake me up, now he gives up and sits at the end of the bed until I move, then he tries again to wake me. He also teases me by sitting in the middle of the bed when it's time to go to bed.
Linus is still super sweet and loving. He's begun to outgrow being held. But he still loves to climb up on me when I'm sitting on the recliner and have me hold him. He loves to lie next to me at night also. I still don't think he understands boundaries, no matter how much the females in my house try to teach him - the girls used to lie next to me at bedtime and Linus would lie on them.
I think Linus would be great with kids, although I have none at home. I think he also might be okay with dogs.
