Bengal - Shnitzel - Small - Adult - Female - Cat
DOB: 4/2005 Hello, my name is Shnitzel and I was abandoned by my owner at Downey, high-kill shelter. When I arrived at my foster home I was thin, sick, and my fur was permeated with cigarette smoke. Since that time, I have gained weight, recovered from my upper respiratory infection (and received a vaccine so I will not likely have one ever again), and my fur is now clean and fresh. I am a gorgeous and exotic girl – my foster mom thinks I am an Egyptian Mau and tabby cross. I am by far one of the most affectionate cats my foster parents have ever met. I love to nuzzle and I purr loudly when I have my belly rubbed. I love to jump on your lap when you’re watching TV and make circles around you just purring and head-butting you. I am a quiet and gentle girl and although I can tolerate other cats, I really prefer to be an only pet. My foster parents have successfully taught me to use the scratching post and I must say I have become quite a pro at it! I have never had any toys before so now I am learning to play with cat fishing rod and squishy ball. I also get worried when you go into the shower because I think that the shower is going to eat you up and then there will be no one left for me to love… so I sit and wait by the door until you come out (it’s very cute). I love sleeping next to your pillow and looking out the window at birds and people passing by. Will you share your pillow with me purrever? Shnitzel is approximately 7 years young, she is spayed, vaccinated, FIV and FelV negative, has healthy teeth and is ready for her new home. She is an Egyptian Mau and tabby cross with large eyes and beautiful ticked fur and dark spots all over her back. Shnitzel would be happiest as an only cat.
