      Features
The Hunter 430 is built to perform with style and comfort. She is fast, easy to sail, stable and comfortable. Thoughtful touches abound, like sail design that incorporates a fractional rig, swept-back spreaders and a full-roach main. This eliminates the need for a backstay and improves sail efficiency and ease of handling. The exterior design of the 430 include a wraparound windshield with cover, integrated mainsheet arch with instrument pod, two-tone non-skid deck, walk-through transom, and a huge cockpit with wheel steering. A slippery but stable hull design incorporates a bulb wing keel and a spade rudder. To get you around while 'on the hook' an 8 foot Zodiac is nestled on deck with a 5hp engine. Below deck are the amenities that make Hunter famous. Behind the companionway steps is the EPIRB with the evacuation bag, out of the way but visible & immediately available if its ever needed. A huge salon with convertible dinette, gourmet galley and twin staterooms, each with enclosed head and shower, as well as a Master Stateroom forward with unbelievable room and amenities.

      Accommodations
She is so well designed you will find features on her not seen until you get to the fifty footers! All usable space has been utilized for storage. Three completely private cabins with a huge salon, galley & dedicated nav station give the impression of space & openness. The two self contained aft cabins each have double beds. The large salon table converts to a double berth. The entertainment includes, large CRT screen for TV, DVDs and a stereo that includes CDs & 'Sirius' satellite stations. The forward stateroom is completely self contained. This is one of the best uses of the fwd quarter in any sized vessel. The stateroom has a double bed, fully functioning make-up & vanity area that is so comfortable it can also be used as a 'get away from everyone' & just chill out & read area. The big surprise is the huge head/shower/wash basin/bidet area. The space usually used for an uncomfortable V berth on more mundane boats is now utilized for ablutions in house-like convenience & comfort.

      Galley
From the beautiful corian topped surfaces to the massive amount of fridge/freezer space, it is obvious from the start this galley was designed by a gourmet chef for preparing excellent meals or hors d'ouvres for the multitude. The top of the line propane Force 10 three burner range, oven & broiler is gimbaled. The double stainless steel sink has a multi function faucet. The built in microwave is conveniently positioned. Plenty of space for spices, pots & pans & cutlery. Your finest china dinnerware set and crystal glasses stored safely within their own accessible built in space.

      Electrical & Electronic Systems
She has all the modern electronics to enable far reaching trips in security & certainty. From the security of the nav station below or from the sheltered helm, the dials, guages, radios both SSB & VHF, radar, chart plotter, depth sounder, GPS, Raytheon ST60 system, etc., etc., are easily available. She also has an inverter to run your AC gear while off-shore & away from the grid.
