Qualifications:
- PhD with 12+ years of pet food design and formulation experience
- BS/MS with 15+ years considered
- Broad depth of experience in pet food development
- Experience in other related food industries

Duties:
- Manage highly technical projects that will facilitate development of new products
- Achieve desired research results within the product image and time guidelines
- Develop projects and apply technologies as it relates to business objectives
- Oversee the planning and execution of experiments
- Coordinate and plan across functional areas to accomplish project objectives
- Show a high degree of accuracy in his/her work
- Supervise technicians or plant personnel
- Work with outside vendors on cooperative projects
- Some travel required
- Other duties as assigned
