Responsibilities-Research and evaluate alternate OE/Aftermarket offerings to prepare new product additions or upgrades to the product line.-Update and maintain both new and existing product specification, images, technical information and bill of material data.-Communicate with global manufacturers regarding product design, pricing, manufacturing, ordering, fulfillment and warranty issues.-Manage product packaging information at individual part and carton levels including product labels.-Closely interact with in-house sales, operations and finance departments with all aspects of procuring products.-Generate awareness of new products by creating advertising and promotional content using electronic cataloging, emails, company website,Internet, social media and traditional print.Requirements-Bachelor Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Product Development or related field.-Minimum 2 years’ experience in a product development position.-Working knowledge of computer applications like Microsoft Word, Excel is required. Prior experience with database programs a plus.-Moderate proficiency in product photography and image editing.-Automotive industry experience and basic knowledge of internal combustion engines a plus.-Must be detail oriented, organized, manage time in an efficient manner and see projects through completion.
