I'm offering this vintage c1964 Paasche 1/4"hp air compressor. I got this at an estate sale 15 years ago & didn't use it, but ran the motor every once in a while, it requires a couple of drop of oil at the top back cap to keep it running smoothly. It runs very strong, an old catalog says it puts out 30lbs. of pressure, but my gauge shows much higher. I gave it a light clean up, looks great, has the original power cord with the on/off switch. It has some wear hear & there, but that's to be expected on a vintage piece like this. This unit looks very similar to modern day ones, both have Marathon motors, but if you look at a newer one you'll see the ID plate has a much more modern style logo. I sent a photo of the ID plate to an employee of marathon & they said the 2K prefix on the model number line of the nameplate is the date code which would indicate the motor was built in September of 1964. The patent date for this was issued on Jan. 24,1939. If you like vintage then this is a great piece, very rare- no other like this found anywhere online.
