Panavision seeks an electronics engineer capable of designing, bringing up and debugging printed circuit boards for equipment used for top of the line cinematography camera systems and cinematography lenses. This individual will get the experience working with a wide range of disciplines from high speed image processing, high current power management to precision motor control systems. We look for a motivated engineer who can work closely with the applications, mechanical and layout engineers to successfully deploy the newest electronic solutions for our ever evolving motion picture industry.Key Responsibilities:• Produce printed circuit board design, bring up, test and debug for equipment for digital cinema camera systems and lenses.• Work with ME and PCB Layout engineers to develop mixed discipline complex designs according to established guidelines and requirements.• Create, document and maintain drawings for manufacturing and sustaining engineering.• Additional duties as assignedSkills/Experience Required:• BS or MS in science, engineering or similar study.• Minimum 5 years of PCB Design experience.• Expertise with ORCAD or DXDesigner schematic capture tools.• Expertise with PCB bring up debug and rework.• Experience in high density, high speed design for video imaging systems.• Experience in voltage regulation, switching for power distribution systems.• Experience with programming FPGA logic using Xilinx design tools.• Experience in microcontroller programming for motor control systems.• Experience in high speed signal integrity design techniques.• Experience in design for low noise for EMC.• Strong work ethic and motivation to drive a result driven fast paced environment.• Passion for advancing the leading the edge of technology for the digital cinema market.• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.• Excellent documentation skills.Physical Requirements:• Must be able to work to regularly sit at a computer work station• Must be able to occasionally walk or stand for periods of time• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Please submit resume in PDF format.Please no calls or drop offs.
