Description:
I have a beautiful nude Indian-Woman Bust statue created by Attila's Bayshore art Studio in 1969. Not quite yet an antique, but it is still a wonderful piece of art that would stand out in any setting.
The statue's dimensions are about 10'' base, 10'' width and 20'' height. It weighs about 33.5 pounds, and is signed "Attila - Bayshore Art 1969" on the rear bottom side. Although I'm not sure if that's referring to Attila the Senior or his son Attila the Junior who was in the process of taking over the business at that time.
She is created out of molded gypsum cement and coated with several layers of finish. The stunning result makes her appear as if she were carved out of a solid tree trunk gracing all with a serene appearance while holding a medicine/walking stick. The careful level of details from the beautiful face to the curling fingers show the masterful level of skill of her creator, Attila.
The statue looks to be in good condition. The knuckles of the fingers and a few other spots have lost a little bit of color, but still look quite natural. The statue would need to be displayed away from direct sunlight as she is light sensitive.

They don't list their prices on the site, but each order received is redirected to their San Fransisco Factory where it would be custom created and shipped out.
Attila's Bayshore Art was started in 1959 and has been nominated in several magazines throughout the years for "Best Statuary". They currently have their main factory in San Francisco and showrooms in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, TX and a few other locations.
