A company is seeking a Bilingual English/Japanese Office Administrator with Japanese Language skills (speak, read, and write). English MUST be the first language. Candidate must have a 2 year college Degree or equivalent work experience. Under general supervision of the Office Manager, the Office Administrator is responsible for providing assistance with the varied administration of the day-to-day operations. This is a Full Time position, Non Exempt. Interviews start now!
-Maintains employees’ records and make sure necessary files are up to date.
-Will be involved in HR Duties in the future.
-20% translation duties (English to Japanese and vice versa)
-Keeps safe record-keeping of the employees’ files.
-Prepares reports, memorandums, and correspondence.
-Maintains and update files, logs and databases.
-Assists employees in scheduling appointments and meetings
-Preparation of new hire and exit packages.
-Maintains and update employee roster, organizational chart and paid leave log.
-Provides clerical assistance such as filing, copying and faxing.
-Arranges and set up interviews with prospective candidates.
-Monitors deadline and initiates follow-up for given tasks and projects.
-Performs general office support functions provides necessary assistance to employees.
-Performs administration functions and duties with other members in Administration.
-Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
-The ability to perform highly detailed work with sustained attention and care in confidential manner while providing/obtaining information on numerous inquiries is paramount to success in this position.
-Must Speak, Read, and Write Japanese.
-Two (2) year college degree (A.A., A.S.) or equivalent work experience and/or certification.
-Two (2) years related experience is preferred.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to handle multiple tasks at a time
-Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills
-Experience in a self-directed work environment
-Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Compensation: $35-43k, Non Exempt.
