Location : Woodland Hills, CA

Salary: $85,000 to $100,000 + bonus + benefits

Job Summary

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Finance or related discipline.
CPA with minimum 5+ years in an accounting position and strong fixed assets and analysis experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Extreme Proficiency and other Microsoft Office Products
Experience in SAP, Oracle or other large ERP or MRP systems knowledge, with implementation a plus
Previous experience within public manufacturing environments preferred
Previous experience at a supervisory level with proven and measurable experience in developing fellow accounting personnel

Responsibilities

Accounting for Fixed Assets and Intangibles including fixed asset software (FAS) database maintenance, including additions, disposals and analyzing and recording depreciation expense

Coordinate, prepare, and review monthly balance sheet and income statement accounts’ trend analysis, including monthly review with Controller

Manage sales and use tax accounting, reporting and reconciliation, including related tax filings. Process owner and liaison between accounts payables, accounts receivable, and outside accounting firm to ensure sales and use tax information is accurately captured, reported and filed in a timely manner

Creates and manages month end close timelines across functional areas monthly, quarterly, and annually.

Oversees the daily activities required to maintain the accurate general ledger balances. Supervises, directs, and reviews the work of the general accounting staff (including, but not limited to cash, investments, fixed assets, royalty accrual, commission accrual, long term debt, and stockholders’ equity).
