Senior Portfolio Analyst – Santa Monica, CA

This position will provide general analytical support to members of the asset management team in connection with existing investment opportunities and current assets under management. The individual will gain valuable exposure to a fast-paced environment and work directly with top-level management at the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Play a key supporting role in analyzing existing investment opportunities
Analyze and monitor the performance of existing investments
Conduct a range of quantitative and qualitative analyses (e.g. strategy assessments, market analyses, financial modeling, real estate valuations, etc.)
Assist with the preparation of investment presentations and proposals

Qualifications:

3-4 years of prior work experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance or real estate
Strong academic record at a top undergraduate institution, with an emphasis in finance, accounting and/or real estate
Integrity and strong work ethic with a desire to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
Outstanding quantitative skills, including strong Excel skills
Strong financial modeling, finance, and accounting skills, with superior attention to detail
Results oriented, self-motivated, proactive work habits
Superior communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to learn quickly and work independently as well as being a team player
Strong interest in the real estate private equity industry
