This is an entry-level Financial Analyst position and this position is targeted to join the finance and strategy department which provides financial advice and modeling, thought leadership and consulting support to increase impact from overall sales and marketing programs.
The Financial Analyst is to assist in the development of business strategy, translate the business strategy into goals that guide integrated operational plans. Diagnose issues and analyze trends to explain and strengthen understanding of financial results.
1. Performing ad hoc and basic analysis linking financial and operational results with general direction. Performing financial analysis, run rate, gap and variance analysis & reconciliation
2. Evaluating plans and projections against targets. Communicating findings to small groups and providing written analysis of key variables and emerging trends
3. Providing requested financial data to internal and external customers and identifying relevant analysis and research
4. Leveraging technology to improve recurring processes and recommend changes or enhancements
Finance related experience of 0-3 years required
BA/BS from Accredited University, with strong GPA
Beginner application of basic financial concepts to solve problems, prepares reports for analysis, and plan/forecast operational data
Beginner written and oral communication skills. The ability to effectively communicate information on straightforward topics with internal and external customers
Beginner analytical skills to compile information requiring combinations of data from multiple sources, the ability to work with numbers and formulas
Beginner organizational skills and time management skills
Proficient in Excel based applications, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
