Senior Corporate Internal Auditor - Los Angeles / Northridge
This individual must be a self-starter and capable of planning and executing operational, financial and compliance audits. Must also be capable of performing special projects and investigations as supervised by the Audit Manager or Director of Internal Audit. During such audits and investigations, identifies key information systems audit risks and incorporates such into plan accordingly. Performs a variety of tests and analyses during such audits including flow-charting, compliance and substantive testing, sampling, etc. using established audit standards, procedures and techniques. Reviews internal policies and procedures and existing laws, rules and regulations to determine applicable compliance and the adequacy of underlying internal controls. May also assess efficiency, effectiveness and cost benefit of operations. Works closely with all levels of management.
Education and Work Experience:
BS/BA is required in accounting, finance or business administration.
CPA, CIA, CISA or Masters degree required. Other audit or healthcare certifications are a plus.
Two to Five years experience in Auditing.
Healthcare audit experience preferred.
