• Review weekly accounting package.
• Prepares and coordinates all entries required to generate accurate monthly financial statements.
• Prepares monthly budget to actual variance analysis.
• Performs all balance sheet accounts reconciliation and research to insure accuracy.
• Acts as the liaison between the field and the Corporate Office.
• Implements all accounting procedures and maintains integrity of financial information.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university; 1 to 3 years accounting related experience. Experience with full G/L through financial statements is preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and document procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and customers.
Ability to analyze, interpret and record business transactions according to generally accepted accounting principles. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and J.D Edwards
