• Responsible for the preparation of monthly consolidated balance sheet schedules.
• Preparation of these schedules includes detailed analysis of account balances, investigating & understanding fluctuations and ensuring account balance accuracy.
• Schedules will be provided to management to assist with their analysis of company operations. Some schedules will be included for use in press releases and for SEC reporting purposes.
• This Senior Accountant position will also provide assistance to the SEC team, Intercompany team and be exposed to P&L analysis.
• Account analysis and preparation of detailed management schedules.
• Communication, both written and verbal, with various Company departments, including international employees.
• Responsible for preparing monthly questions regarding international operating results.
• Preparation of monthly detailed consolidated analysis for selected balance sheet accounts.
• Compile monthly consolidated statements of cash flows.
• Resolving account balance differences, including preparing correcting journal entries.
• Analyzing and understanding international account balances and foreign currency.
• Preparation of schedules included in SEC filings, including 10Ks and 10Qs.
• Review and proof-reads 10Ks and 10Qs prior to filing.
• Help with intercompany related responsibilities, including booking intercompany related entries, updating FX schedules, sending out confirmation schedules and creating invoices.
• Help accommodate certain external auditors' requests during quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
• Research complex accounting issues to ensure compliance with US GAAP.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in accounting) and 3-4 years of related accounting experience (public accounting experience preferred)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge

• Team oriented with strong work ethic
• Superb organizational skills
• Willing to take on new responsibilities and challenges
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Word & PowerPoint also helpful
