Posey remains a family owned business, and we are constantly working to ensure that patient safety and quality of life remain paramount in everything we do.SUMMARY: The Senior Contracts and Pricing Administrator (SCPA) position is responsible for developing and implementing policy and procedures, strategies, and cost-saving programs that will maintain, renew, and secure new contracts.This position works in collaboration with senior management, Health Systems Directors, and key individuals for revenue realization of Posey contracts. The Senior Contracts and Pricing Specialist plays a critical role in the Company’s Quality System Requirements and will be expected to develop an overall understanding of the Quality Policies for the Posey Company.RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and execute pre-proposals and post award contract activities to ensure successful contract processing, implementation, and administration.Support contract launch and rollout in conjunction with the Vice President of Sales, Health Systems Directors, Field Sales, and Marketing teams.Support revenue generation activity of Health Systems Directors on existing and new contracts.Establish policy and procedures, methodologies and strategies for the contract management functions in line with company objectives.Support negotiation of contracts in conjunction with senior management and Health Systems Directors for corporate agreements with GPOs, IDNs, distributors, house accounts, and government agencies.Manage contract compliance including but not limited to contract fees, rebates, and reporting requirements.Manage GPO membership commitment and participation to ensure accurate contract pricing and fee disbursement.Manage contract administration reporting system.Develop and implement systems to measure contract performance and compliance.Provide contract evaluation to senior management.Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies and cost savings programs.Manage the accuracy and integrity of the company’s pricing system.Assist in long range department planning and development to support company objectives.Assist and support the Sales Team through policy setting and coordination.Provide training to Field Sales and internal teams on new contract terms, pricing and programs.Manage in conjunction with Health Systems Directors internal and external contract communications.Plan and develop department processes/procedures to improve department efficiency.Some travel may be required.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field required.Business acumen and an understanding how different terms impact the overall business strategy and profitability. Three to five (3-5) years of progressively responsible experience in Contract Administration, preferably Healthcare Contract Administration, with a knowledge of Supply Chain Management concepts and principles.Proven negotiating skills for contract solicitation and with the ability to identify contractual language requiring consideration and able to effectively work with legal counsel during the solicitation process.Demonstrated experience and proficiency with all aspects of contract compliance.Extensive knowledge of the medical industry supply chain cycle and business practices. Skilled at financial analysis of contract proposals and performance including quantitative and qualitative evaluation of data and able to provide succinct and pertinent summaries to senior management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in systems and applications including ERP and all Microsoft applications-word, excel (pivot tables & V-look up) power point.Preferred Requirements:Knowledge and experience with government contracting a plus.Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel helpful.Experience as a paralegal preferred.The Posey Company A Breadth of Knowledge and Experience, At Your Service!By working together, we create can create a much safer place for both patients and caregivers.
